It took 1.5 hours to deliver the food 4 blocks. They are very disorganized. At first, they couldn't find my order from SeamlessWeb, then they changed their minds and told me my food was already out with the delivery guy. After waiting another 1/2 hour, I had to call back to ask the whereabouts of the food. When I finally got the call that the food was downstairs in the lobby, I rushed down to meet the delivery guy. There were a few delivery guys when I got there, so I said, "Thai Basil, Thai Basil" several times. The delivery guy was so spacy he just stood there. It took several more minutes for him to realize he was suppose to give the food to me. Don't order from here if you're hungry.

Worst pad thai I have ever had.

Four stars for a few bucks. This is the best Thai food for your buck in NYC. And it's not some wimpy faux-Thai food. It's full on spicy and tasty Thai food. You cannot beat the lunch specials, which include a little salad and spring roll. Yummy. The restaurant is tiny, so Seamlessweb is a great way to go.

Out of the slew of Thai restaurants on 9th ave, we always order from Thai Basil because it is of consistent average quality and the cheapest thai in the neighborhood = best value for the $. Their sauteed and curry dishes are good, but don't order pad thai.

This Thai food is a cut above the rest (of which there are many) in Hell's Kitchen.

The food here is pretty good. Nothing I've had is amazing knock your socks off, but I've never had anything bad. And I've had some bad Thai on the upper west side. I like the pad thai, the pad see ew, the penang curry, the pork and shrimp dumplings, the pineapple fried rice and the summer roll. I've ordered from here a bunch of times and would order from here again.

I found the food to be average. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was full of noodles as it should be but was very limited on meat and on peanut sauce. I also had the spring roll, they were OK. The delivery guy was quick and friendly. All in all this place was just average.

These guys are (for the most part) AWESOME! Best Thai I've ever had, they're very nice, quick delivery and there's someone to speak English if there's a problem. They pretty much always forget my chopsticks unless I call someone and mention it on the phone. But they once made it up to me by sending like, 10 pairs one time. Which was pretty awesome. :)

Over an hour for delivery and when it finally got here the food looked like it had been half eaten already (and it was cold). The beef prig khing had about 5 really small pieces of beef? this can't be right can it?

Delivery was fast, and I loved the sticky rice! The pad thai was mediocre, and I wouldn't recommend the spring rolls.

Very quick delivery! The green curry was delicious. The shrimp pad thai was a little disappointing since the portion was so small - but pretty good taste and shrimp were large. Summer rolls were not good, and the peanut sauce that came with it was horrible.

Thai Basil never fail to send fresh, delicious dishes and the delivery is generally much faster than the estimate. I love this place!

i just ordered the tofu pad thai and it is terrible. everything was totally greasy, the tofu is spongy, and the taste is unlike any pad thai i've ever tasted (in a very bad way). i'll be throwing this out.

I ordered a full order of Chicken Pad Thai and an order of sauteed chinese broccli. The Pad Thai is dry and you can taste/smell something very similar to Fish Sauce that is a bit of a turn off. The sauteed chinese broccli is seasoned and taste very good. I will try them again in hopes this was an off day. Portion size for price is right on point.

So disappointed by this restaurant. The Tom Kha soup was watery and flavorless, the padphed scallops were bland and mushy. The Siam Beef was completely bland. The Pad Thai wasn't remotely good, and the dumplings were gummy. We were so quick to throw the leftovers away we almost threw away our silverware with it.
