Did not read comments/requests in the order. I asked for no spring roll as I am allergic to wheat-- but they included it in the same container. Also, I ordered 2 of exactly the same items, but they only delivered one. They do not pay attention to details. I ended up in the hospital because of this!

Extremely Small portion for what you pay, however, the food was very flavorful!

Was not that Impressed with the Pad Kee Mao .. It was okay But I have had better at Spice and Room Service

The quality has gone down recently. This has been my staple thai place for years. Their delivery is very good, but recently the pad thai was super greasy and not that flavorful.

reliable and fast delivery. duck pad thai dominates.

delivery is super quick the food is still hot. i love the vegetarian duck noodle dishes, a total vegetarian treat!

The food is a little better in-house than it is for delivery, but it's still really good when delivered, and very reasonably priced. Their small house salad is only $3, which is a great deal. The food always arrives hot, and is pretty reliable in terms of quality.

Real great food. Vegetarian duck is absolutely delicious. Bobae and Jungle Curry are really amazing.

Pad Ce Eiw: small portion, almost zero sauce, I'm disappointed, won't be ordering from here again.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but maybe they are ordering the wrong thing. The thai basil with chicken and the green curry with chicken is SO good. I love the spring rolls too. I always order here for lunch and delivery is quick. I wish their minimum was lower though.

One of the best seamless thai food restaurants. I don't know why it is not 4 stars.

I'm not one to write reviews for I hardly have time-- but after the terrible service I just experienced, I felt compelled to warn others about Thai Basil. If your're up to waiting over an hour for ordinary greasy thai food, you're okay. Otherwise save yourself the trouble and order from one of the so many other thai restaurants in hell's kitchen that offer much better food anyway.

the delivery sucks. ordered food at 7:25 on thursday night, took an hour and a half to get the food and I live 6 blocks away.

It took 1.5 hours to deliver the food 4 blocks. They are very disorganized. At first, they couldn't find my order from SeamlessWeb, then they changed their minds and told me my food was already out with the delivery guy. After waiting another 1/2 hour, I had to call back to ask the whereabouts of the food. When I finally got the call that the food was downstairs in the lobby, I rushed down to meet the delivery guy. There were a few delivery guys when I got there, so I said, "Thai Basil, Thai Basil" several times. The delivery guy was so spacy he just stood there. It took several more minutes for him to realize he was suppose to give the food to me. Don't order from here if you're hungry.

Worst pad thai I have ever had.

Four stars for a few bucks. This is the best Thai food for your buck in NYC. And it's not some wimpy faux-Thai food. It's full on spicy and tasty Thai food. You cannot beat the lunch specials, which include a little salad and spring roll. Yummy. The restaurant is tiny, so Seamlessweb is a great way to go.

Out of the slew of Thai restaurants on 9th ave, we always order from Thai Basil because it is of consistent average quality and the cheapest thai in the neighborhood = best value for the $. Their sauteed and curry dishes are good, but don't order pad thai.

This Thai food is a cut above the rest (of which there are many) in Hell's Kitchen.

The food here is pretty good. Nothing I've had is amazing knock your socks off, but I've never had anything bad. And I've had some bad Thai on the upper west side. I like the pad thai, the pad see ew, the penang curry, the pork and shrimp dumplings, the pineapple fried rice and the summer roll. I've ordered from here a bunch of times and would order from here again.

TOO salty SMALL PORTIONS

I found the food to be average. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was full of noodles as it should be but was very limited on meat and on peanut sauce. I also had the spring roll, they were OK. The delivery guy was quick and friendly. All in all this place was just average.

one and a half hours and still no food. I've called twice, first time they said 5-10 minutes a half hour later they said it was on its way. never again.

These guys are (for the most part) AWESOME! Best Thai I've ever had, they're very nice, quick delivery and there's someone to speak English if there's a problem. They pretty much always forget my chopsticks unless I call someone and mention it on the phone. But they once made it up to me by sending like, 10 pairs one time. Which was pretty awesome. :)

No utensils were included. I had to scavenge the office

very fast delivery; food was good, but very salty

Over an hour for delivery and when it finally got here the food looked like it had been half eaten already (and it was cold). The beef prig khing had about 5 really small pieces of beef? this can't be right can it?

1.5 hours later and the food isn't here. I canceled the order and all i was told was they are busy. just moved to the area and wanted to find a good thai place. this can't be it.

Delivery was fast, and I loved the sticky rice! The pad thai was mediocre, and I wouldn't recommend the spring rolls.

Very quick delivery! The green curry was delicious. The shrimp pad thai was a little disappointing since the portion was so small - but pretty good taste and shrimp were large. Summer rolls were not good, and the peanut sauce that came with it was horrible.

Thai Basil never fail to send fresh, delicious dishes and the delivery is generally much faster than the estimate. I love this place!

i just ordered the tofu pad thai and it is terrible. everything was totally greasy, the tofu is spongy, and the taste is unlike any pad thai i've ever tasted (in a very bad way). i'll be throwing this out.

I ordered a full order of Chicken Pad Thai and an order of sauteed chinese broccli. The Pad Thai is dry and you can taste/smell something very similar to Fish Sauce that is a bit of a turn off. The sauteed chinese broccli is seasoned and taste very good. I will try them again in hopes this was an off day. Portion size for price is right on point.

So disappointed by this restaurant. The Tom Kha soup was watery and flavorless, the padphed scallops were bland and mushy. The Siam Beef was completely bland. The Pad Thai wasn't remotely good, and the dumplings were gummy. We were so quick to throw the leftovers away we almost threw away our silverware with it.
